This piece is subtitled ‘Cosmic Tipi’ and was gifted to me after a medicine ceremony where my intention was to call home all aspects of my self. Specifically, those that had been locked out over the course of my life, either intentionally, or through trauma, or conditioning. I had a profoundly intense and ultimately beautiful experience where after a lengthy disintegration process, I was led onto a path of starlight and taken to a vast cosmic tipi, which appeared out of the very fabric of the universe surrounding me. Inside I was held and worked with as a seemingly endless parade of entities moved inside to join me. Some, I immediately fell into deep embrace with, and we sang, danced and celebrated our reunion, Others were understandably more standoffish, confused, or downright outraged – why now? Why are we allowed to be here now?

That was four years ago, and though I am more whole in my self than I have ever been, I understand this is my lifelong daily integration practice and I am so honoured and grateful to be living it. This song is such a balm, it drops me back into that vulnerable, yet safe space, where every vibration of my being is welcome, belongs, is home.
